SiteCast Construction Honoured with the Alphonse J. Engleman Safety Award
The Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) has awarded SiteCast Construction the Alphonse J. Engleman Safety Award for Best Tilt-Up Safety Achievement Award/Tilt-Up Contractors. Winners were recognized at the Association’s annual convention in Amelia Island, Florida.
“This year’s winners exemplify safe work practices on the jobsite, and these awards highlight the results of their efforts,” said Barclay Gebel, chair of the TCA Safety Committee. “The TCA continues to increase attention and support of the safety process as we look forward to continued growth of our industry.”
The TCA is a non-profit international organization that serves to expand and improve the use of tilt-up as the preferred building system. The awards program honours Al Engleman, a TCA past president and board member as well as a long-time supporter of the tilt-up industry.
Over the years, SiteCast has won numerous industry awards including CON/STEEL Building of the Year, Tilt-Up Concrete Association’s Achievement Award and The High Performance New Construction (HPNC) Program for SiteCast’s commitment to energy-efficiency in Ontario. In 2011, SiteCast President Shawn Hickey was honoured with the CON/STEEL MVP Award.
