SiteCast Construction Honoured with the Alphonse J. Engleman Safety Award
OTTAWA, Canada, November 13, 2013 - For the second year in a row, the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) has recognized SiteCast Construction for its safety record. This year SiteCast earned the Alphonse J. Engleman - Zero Lost Time Accident Achievement Award. Winners were recognized at the Association’s annual convention held this year in Houston, Texas.
“TCA’s safety committee has been hard at work on several new resources for the industry,” said Barclay Gebel, chair of the TCA Safety Committee. “These awards help draw attention to the program, our efforts and of course, the success of those making safety their ultimate priority.”
The TCA is a non-profit international organization that serves to expand and improve the use of tilt-up as the preferred building system. The awards program honours Al Engleman, a TCA past president and board member as well as a long-time supporter of the tilt-up industry.
Over the years, SiteCast and its president Shawn Hickey has won numerous industry awards for innovation, architectural appeal, leadership in the tilt-up industry, commitment to energy-efficiency, as well as safety.
